About Yigah Restaurant
Located at 2750 Alton Pkwy, Irvine, CA 92606, Yigah Restaurant operates as a korean restaurant serving Irvine in California. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In Irvine, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across California run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. On most of those days it is open 11 am–9 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (949) 475-0011. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. Its website is yigahrestaurant.shop, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.
With 4.2 out of 5 on Google from 445 reviews, it sits in the middle of the range for korean restaurants in Irvine. Recent reviews are the best guide.
Irvine is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Getting around Irvine is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across California's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Don't sleep on this little spot in DJ! We ordered the seolleongtang and ugeoji galbitang and both were phenomenal. The banchan is also fresh and refilled often with a huge pot of green onions. The place is run by a sweet bunch of korean aunties and I felt like I was having dinner at one of their homes. Highly recommend for a cozy, homely korean meal.

I came in with modest expectations—especially compared to the GG location—but Yigah really delivered. The food was outstanding across the board. The bibimbap was flavorful and well-balanced, the braised beef was rich and tender, and the katsu was perfectly crispy. We originally chose this spot because Coco’s didn’t have peanut-free options, but we ended up leaving genuinely impressed and satisfied. This is definitely a place to enjoy family-style dining. Order a variety of dishes for the table rather than sticking to just one entrée—you’ll appreciate the variety and avoid flavor fatigue. Service was excellent: attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming throughout the meal. The restaurant itself has a sleek, modern vibe that feels similar to the original location. One heads-up: since it’s located in Diamond Jamboree, parking can be a bit challenging during peak hours. Pro tip: Don’t skip the bossam—it’s a must-order.

This Korean restaurant was great! The portion sizes were huge, and food was very delicious. We ordered the spicy beef soup and the grilled octopus. I did like the spicy beef soup a bit more, but both dishes were quite good. The banchan was exceptional, and I loved that they served barley tea on the side.

Small lil spot. The price is a bit on expensive side for me. I ordered the pork belly set with veggies and lots of ban chan came with it. Good flavor. Wonton soup with rice cake : 4/5 Parking : always the an issue here The whole mall is awesome: spa, H mart, bakery, other well known restaurants. It is a good meet up spot.
